Booking a first visit takes a quick call or text. Here is how it works and what to bring, so the appointment goes smoothly.

Booking your first visit

  1. Call or text to book. Mention if you are in pain or have a dental emergency.
  2. Arrive a few minutes early with the items below.
  3. Your first visit includes an exam, x-rays and a cleaning, usually 45 minutes to 1½ hours, and the dentist talks through anything that needs treatment before it is booked.

What to bring

  • Your insurance card, if you have one
  • A photo ID
  • A list of the medicines you take and any allergies
  • Recent dental x-rays or records, if you have them
  • Any questions you want to ask

Good to know

  • We see patients from toddlers up. We do not see babies.
  • The office speaks Korean and English. 한국어 가능합니다.

Using insurance?

The front office checks your benefits and gives you a breakdown before your first visit. ASU student insurance is accepted, and ASU students can join the TrueDental membership plan.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Call the office as soon as possible, so the time can go to another patient.

What should I do in a dental emergency after hours?

We are not a 24-hour emergency office. Call when the office opens: emergencies are seen the same day during office hours. The emergency steps on the services page explain what to do for a broken tooth until then. Swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow cannot wait: call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Where do I park?

In the Parque Villa building complex. Suite F has one entrance, the blue door in the photo under Location and hours.

Is the office wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The office is wheelchair accessible.

Do you see children?

Yes, from toddlers up. We do not see babies. Dr. Ahn trained in a pediatric dental office before opening her Tempe office.

Do you speak Korean?

Yes. The office speaks Korean and English. 한국어 가능합니다.
